Welcome!
The
County-City GIS Committee is a multi-jurisdiction body representing DeKalb
County, the City of Auburn, the City of Butler and the City of Garrett.
The Committee was founded by DeKalb County and the City of Auburn
in August of 1998. The City of Butler and City of Garrett joined the
efforts in 2000. Since its inception, the County-City GIS Committee
has been providing decision support to the County and Cities’
decision-making bodies regarding GIS, data sharing and collaboration
issues. In the spring of 2008,
the committee decided to turn over most of its functions to the
County-City GIS Technical Committee/and to meet only on an as
needed/project specific basis.
